Blood & Plunder Characers: the results

Posted on July 10, 2018December 23, 2023 by admin

Following the pictures in my last painting post, I painted the seven character figures I have.

Above, the Howard Pyle figure, a generic Spanish Commander, and the Spaniard Manuel Rivero de Pardal.

Below, English commanders. From left, two generic English commanders and two versions of Captain Morgan. The left-hand figure is in the uniform of the Admiral’s Regiment. The Captain Morgan figure in the gold coat is based on a contemporary portrait. The right-hand figure is more like the Rum version of the Captain.

I spent about and hour or so on each figure, maybe eight hours on the group.
